Where do I start? As a new(ish) Mom, I have a whole new view of Mother's Day. I am lucky to have two daughters (2 years and 6 months) and experiencing motherhood is the best, most rewarding, and sometimes most challenging, thing I have ever done!
I am blessed to have phenomenal role models in my life that help me navigate this time in my life everyday. This year, I had more time to dedicate to making a few new products for the shoppe to highlight moms, and I had a lot of fun coming up with new ideas!
We also decided to partner with a local mom that has a homebased floral business! During our initial meeting, we both said how nice it is to be able to relate to another mom in business. The ideas we have will be released in a few weeks - TBD!
Anyways, my mom. My Mom (pictured with me), is the strongest woman I have ever known. She has faced ups and downs in her life and has continued to be a source of unwavering support for our family. While she doesn't spend much time in the shoppe, she is one of the people that I go to first with ideas, and also problems! She is there for it all. My Favorite Sweet Shoppe wouldn't be where it is today with out her help and guidance.
Mother's Day is just a month away. I hope we all take a moment and think about a special way to honor our moms this year.
